Life Coach and PA.

Back in January I wrote a blog post about my career before Run Talk Run. It was a reflection on my administrative journey as an Office Manager/PA which is where I discovered that being an organisational badass was something that came very naturally to me.

Of course, all that organisational wizardry came in very very useful when I created the mental health movement that is Run Talk Run. All of the varying “hats” I’d been wearing came into play. Marketing, HR, accounts, you name it. Ensuring that approximately 150 Volunteers are all well and “running” their RTRs like clockwork is something that I’ve taken in my stride.

And the best part is, I really really really care about the impact we are creating. I really care that we are facilitating safe spaces worldwide where it is ok to turn up with an attitude that screams “meh” because it’s a bad mental health day.

A lot of you might have been noticing the discomfort I’ve been displaying over Instagram these past few weeks. This is because I have been looking for paid work which reflects both:

  • My passion: Fitness, Mental Health, Wellbeing

  • My skills: PA, Admin, Social Media, Coaching

And truth be told, it is hard to find “the perfect fit”! So I am going to return to what I do best.

Supporting Fitness & Wellness Entrepreneurs.

I am going to do this two ways:

  • Coaching: for those who want to create mass impact with their Fitness/Wellness business

  • PA Support: for those who are time-poor and REALLY want to start delegating some of their admin and social media responsibilities. #engagement

Coaching

In my coaching career thus far, I have worked with numerous clients who have all experienced breakthrough results. The more conversations I have with my clients, the more I feel grounded in knowing exactly who it is I want to work with. I want to work with the movement-makers and the dream-chasers. I want to work with the people who are crazy enough to believe that they can leave this world in a better place. Because those people who believe that they can change the world, are often the ones who do.

But I know that being an entrepreneur in this field is HARD.

  • How do you know where to begin?

  • How do you even START to create a global community?

  • How do you make yourself known in your niche?

  • How do you make sure that your own wellbeing isn’t compromised as you go on this journey?

My coaching will not be a prescriptive list of “to do’s” for you to take away with you (Google would be able to do that for you), but rather a collaboration between the two of us in creating an action-plan for what needs to be done to “move your movement” forward.

Pop me an email if you are in the process of creating something magical. Even if we decide that coaching isn’t right for you right now, I’d love to hear what you’re up to!

Virtual PA Support

Since February 2017 I have been Freelancing as a PA for fitness entrepreneurs. A lot of you know me as “Running Mental Health Jess”, but those who know me personally will know that actually, I love to lift heavy shit too. Rightly or wrongly, I just bloody love this Fitness & Wellness world and I take pride in supporting those who are borderline obsessed with it too.

What I’ve discovered though, is that you Fitness & Wellbeing entrepreneurs also have to wear all of the hats. Marketing, accounts, client management, administrator. You are time poor and you are running out of energy to give your clients and your business the attention it rightly deserves.

I know this, because I’ve been working with (and dating, hahaha shhh) people like you for the last 3/4 years.

With my 10 years administrative experience, I can help you with.

  • Administration - client management, email prioritisation, creating systems to make your life easier

  • Social Media - engagement, content scheduling, responding to DM enquiries

  • Content Writing/Proof Reading - for your website, for your ebook, for your captions, for your blog. I love to write. I like to think I am pretty good at it, too. Here’s an example of one of my own blogs about The Benefits of Running for your Mental Health

I can act as your own Virtual PA for the stuff you don’t enjoy doing.

If that sounds like what you need then I’d encourage you to get in touch so we can chat about it.

Run Talk Run

By no means the third-wheel to my career, but rather, a most impactful and intentional global movement that I have found myself running (the pun is always intended). I love what I have created with Run Talk Run. I am not ashamed to “own it”. I love that all of our Volunteers take great pride and ownership of their individual communities within the wider network. I love that our run attendees receive free weekly support from their local peers. I will be working on Run Talk Run and ensuring our sustainability and impact for a long time to come.

Now, I am wary that all of the above is half-blog-update-half-pitch. I’m not even sorry about that.

This isn’t really the start of something new, but rather a continuation of all that I adore.

Feel free to email me any questions!

All my love.

Jess
