What Comes Next

What Comes Next is a CIC I founded after recognising a gap in support for women who have left an abusive relationship. After crisis support ends, when the immediate danger has passed, a woman is left to her own devices to work out how to rebuild her life.

The community platform provides a safe, carefully held online peer support community for women who have experienced domestic abuse, alongside grants to give women the tangible tools they need for their next chapter - whether that's access to therapy, a creative course, or simply something that helps them rediscover who they are. Every resource is designed around the princple that women should get to decide what comes next on their own terms.

What Comes Next also works to build partnerships with organisations that can open doors for survivors - race organisers, therapy providers, course creators, and business mentors - creating scalable pathways of support that extend well beyond the crisis period.

This project is personal. "What Comes Next" is tattooed on my arm as a reminder of my own journey out of an abusive relationship and a life I couldn't have imagined at my lowest point. That lived experience sits at the heart of everything the community does.

What Comes Next is still growing, but the mission is clear - no woman should have to figure out the rebuild alone.
